Eating Out - Side Story (Adult)

It wasn’t often for Kai to go out to a restaurant to eat, and it was less often that he would take a date there, this however wasn’t an ordinary date, and he’d vetted the chef of this particular eatery before, even sharing tips with the cook. This was more of a business meeting, he wasn’t here to wow his date with his fanciful skills or his prowess on a plate. He was here to get to know the Jounin that he’d hired to take on some of his dirtier assignments, she was his attack dog and he was paying her well. So it was the best idea to get to know her and what motivated her, besides the money. Her file and Bingo book entries were surprisingly sparse. Most of what she brought to Hone was provided by herself, but even that was barren, just enough to gain access.

If it were in any other village this particular food vendor would be rated as a five star, with luxurious tables and well dressed wait staff, not to mention gourmet food. If Kai wasn’t a Shinobi he’d likely run a similar place. He’d dressed in a little bit nicer clothing to suit the restaurant, black slacks and a white long sleeve shirt and a black vest, with a black tie running down into it, completing the ensemble were gold accessories watch and cufflinks. Kai had also given his newest minion pertinent information on what was expected in this high-class place, so she wouldn’t arrive under dressed if she listened at all to what was passed on.

For now however he’d sip his chilled spring water and wait...

Megumi wishes she could say she had fancy clothes to wear to an upper class restaraunt like this, but...that wasn't exactly the case. The only thing she had that was a step up from her usual hinobi uniform was a somehwat nicer robe than the one she typically wore, and dark pants that, while nothing special, didn't look like they had been tattered by extensive use in combat. She had accessories, or dresses, or anything of the sort. Megumi was a practical woman, and didn't have the money to waste on this sort of high-class scene.

She didn't look like a street urchin or anything, but neither did she look like she particularly belonged, and with that in mind she received a few odd stares on her way in through the door. Fortunately, they seemed to be expecting her when she mentioned who she was there to see, and didn't ask any questions beyond that. When she finally saw Kai at the table, she slinked her way over and eased into the seat across from him.

"Before you ask, yes these are the nicest clothes I have," she muttered. "This isn't exactly my usual kind of scene."

Kai had looked a little dissapointed, "While you look nice enough for an informal outting, we'll have to fix that some other time perhaps, if you're going to be seen with me in public I'd like for you to have two or three dresses, I know a good tailor that will hook you up for cheap, and even," Kai would flick his wrist and produce a Kunai twirling it around in his fingers. "sew in a few hidden weapons compartments." Kai would slide the hidden weapon back into his the wrist pocket of his shirt, even the skilled eyes of a shinobi would miss where exactly it'd come from. While Kai looked disarming he was never disarmed.

Raising a hand Kai would call over the one of the waiters, a young man well done up in a prim and propper outfit, sporting a towel, with the restaurant's emblem around one arm like a buttler would. "Menue's please." Kai requested politely, it might seem out of character for what Megumi had seen of him.

"Very well." The waiter would scuttle off and return only a few seconds later placing leather bound menues in front of the two of them. "The special is the Steak and Shrimp, the soup of the day is the split pea. I will return shortly to take your order." With that the waiter bowed out. Megumi would realize looking at the menu right away that the prices were missing from hers. This dinner would be on Kai, so she could order anything she wanted.

"Yeah, well, sorry...don't exactly have a ton of money," Megumi said, shifting awkwardly in her seat. She didn't really need to be reminded. The most formal place to eat she'd ever been up until now had been a noddle shop, and t his was so far beyond that. "I mean, the check you paid me is twice what I make in a month. Which, you know, I'm grateful for, of course. Definitely grateful. That is...why I am here, after all."

To cut her rambling, Megumi cleared her throat and snatched up her menu. Most of the various entrees she inspected she wasn't sure of what they were. There were so many different styles of cooking, sauces, things that were minced, sauteed... It all rather made her head spin. "Um...yeah I guess I'm just going to have whatever that guy said was the special."

Kai paused when Megumi went on and rambled, he'd not brought her here to rub money in her face, he just approved of this restaurant, though he also approved of a few of the mom and pops shops around the village, he didn't want her to feel like she wasn't that important of an asset to him. "That's a good choice, but I reccomend you expand your horizon's a little, maybe one day you'll be taking your little brother to places like this, maybe for his birthday, that is coming up isn't it?"

Folding was a sign that he was done for the waiter, who would wait for Megumi to do the same before coming over and taking their order. He'd been assigned to this one table, and that was it, so whatever they needed was his request, and he was chomping at the bit to serve them to get a good reputation not only for the places good food but prompt service.

"Uhh...yes, it is...but how did you..." Megumi glared at Kai, but only momentarily before realizing how he would have known that. "Right. Administrator. You have access to everyone's file. I'd point out it's odd you remember something that specific, but I'm guessing you went and reviewed ours again before this get together, am I right?"

She didn't sound upset or combative at all about the statement, more matter-of-fact than anything. This was essentially a business meeting, after all. It only made sense he would have done his research. "And who knows, maybe I will. Would be nice, at least. Kenji...deserves a good life. I'll do whatever I have to to provide that for him."

"Another beat, and then she set her menu down. "I don't know, how about I go with the glazed ham?"

"Of course, I want to get to know you, and I figured the best place to start was in your files." The way she spoke started to give way to a thought, an idea, especially the way she spoke about her brother: That money was a means to an end to ensure her brothers well being. It was an endearing thought at least. It was already working that he was starting to understand her.

When she selected a the glazed ham he nodded, "That's a good choice, I think you'll enjoy it." They use a honey glaze here, which is uncommon but excellent."

The waiter seeing Megumi's menu drop would move in and snatch the two up quickly. Whilst Kai relayed their choices. He chose the lobster tails with butter sauce, ordered shrimp cocktails for the appetizer and a white wine to start the afternoon off.

"I understand that you've taken on another student with your younger brother." It was kind of an into business ice breaker, they were going to talk shop for a little bit over the appetizers.

"Ah, yeah, Kensai," Megumi said, with a small nod. "Just took him on recently, as a matter of fact. Wasn't exactly a planned thing, but that's what the village told me to do, so I did it. Smart kid, tenacious, likes to fight up close and personal like I do. All in all, I think he'll progress nicely. Seems to get along with Kenji too, which is nice. Kenji always needed a real friend who wasn't his sister. And as you obviously already know, we just completed our first mission, which was...quite a bit more intense than we anticipated. But they both did well, in spite of the circumstances."

"I was a little surprised that there weren't any real medical reports after your mission either, meaning that you got both of them home safe and sound. I guess that's a testiment to your skill as a shinobi." Again she'd doted upon Kenji and his circumstances, filling out Kai's theory that she lived to uplift her little brother. "Then again, leaving Kiri, I imagine that this wasn't Kenji's first rodeo. But even taking an unvetted gennin out and bringing him back without so much as needing a stitch says a lot."

The cocktails and wine arrived all at once with the glasses being set and poured in sufficent manner, it was quite a bit of wine that the two of them were poured, the place might have been nice but it also prided itself on the portions, unlike many of its peers.

"Speaking of your skill as a Shinobi, you've so far been the jounin to score the highest on the Taijutsu Examination." It was a score that hadn't been presented to her, it'd simply been a pass-fail exercise. Considering all the major disiplines were covered, it was quite an extensive test. "It was hard, as most villages vet Jounin through their career in a village, yet our village is taking all comers, and vetting their supposed skill ourselves." He was leading into something but wasn't coming out with it right away. Simply taking the cocktail fork and eating his shrimp after dipping them in the cocktail sauce one at a time.

"Kenji and I have been on the road since he was just a kid," she explained. "I basically raised him, moving from place to place, constantly hunted by Kiri. We're both...used to fighting for our lives. So yeah, a bunch of bandits weren't exactly intimidating. And Kensai kept up with the both of us just fine, too. They're both good kids."

Megumi knew wine was meant to be sipped. But then again, she wasn't ever one to really hold back on her consumption of alcohol, in any form. Almost as soon as the glass was poured, she grabbed it and gulped down nearly the entire thing. Wine was also not her preferred beverage, but what the hell, she might as well enjoy it considering Kai was paying. It would be rude to refuse, after all.

When Kai told her of her scores on the taijutsu exam, she titled her head a little and raised an eyebrow. "You don't say? Highest score? Heh, I guess that's to be expected. I've always preferred pummeling my enemies with my fists, and I've always been good at it.

"It sounds to me like you really work well with your hands." Kai gave innuendo, he was of course smirking now, "I wouldn't hope to win against you in a purely taijutsu match." He would pause for a second, before changing topics. "Perhaps you would like to know the particulars of the tasks that I would be asking you to do on the side?"

Shinobi stuff was way out of his paygrade. He would refill Megumi's glass and then hightail it out of there before he could even remotely be considered as eavesdropping.

"Oh believe me, I work wonders with my hands," Megumi replied, keenly playing along with Kai's innuendo. She returned the smirk and then gulped down the rest of her wine. When she set the glass down again, she leaned back in her chair and tapped her fingers against the table. "Mhm...I suppose that would be a good thing to know. Can't really do a job without knowing what it is."

"I like this village." Kai stated bluntly, "I like Setsuna's dream of a village, where the only fighting we have to do is to defend ourselves." He would place his fork next to the now empty cocktail and take a sip, "However there are those that wish to subvert our fearless leader. While Setsuna lives in her dream of a united village melding pot, I see people who would steal her dream and subvert it into a nightmare. You may hear the name, Kai faction thrown around behind closed doors. That's what we do. Prevent people both inside Hone and outside from damaging Setsuna's dream. Would you be willing to kill for that dream, even sworn residents of Hone?"

Megumi didn't answer right away, although Kai might notice her demeanor suddenly change to become much more stern and serious. Gripping the edge of the table, she pulled herself forward and stared at the man across from her. When she spoke, it was in a low tone, aubilbe only to him. "My brother and I have been running for almost his entire life. Hone is the first place, the only place, we've been able to settle down for real and feel safe, a place that would accept us and protect us. That's what I want for him. I want to protect him. I want to give him a good life. Hone is the only place that can happen. I would kill legions to make sure that dream never dies."

Kai sat back in his chair as his conversational partner's look got darker, it could only really mean two things, she wasn't on board or she was already on board, which was confirmed when she opened her mouth. She would be the zealot he needed. When she finished a smile curled over his lips, it wasn't the standard shit eating grin of his, this was something different, sinister. "Good." His response would be comforting to Megumi. "You understand exactly where I'm coming from."

"Excuse me. Your meal will be along shortly." The waiter would be coming up to remove both of their shrimp cocktails, refilling wine if it needed it and then buggering off to outside of earshot, as the serious looks told him safety was outside of eavesdrop range.

"Now, you might be curious as to why I need you, or anyone else for that matter." The redhead explained to his newest recruit. "Because even with shadow clones, of which I can make quite a few, but as a high profile figure my movements are often tracked by those that seek to undermine the village from within. As a beautiful woman especially one in my company few will think much beyond our relationship other than a physical one. So, are you ready to follow all of my orders to the best of your abilities?"

Megumi immediately grabbed her refilled wine glass and gulped down the entire thing again. For some reason, she wasn't even hungry anymore, so the knowledge that her food was almost done didn't warrant any kind of response from her. The drinks, though, they could keep coming and she would down them all. When she slapped the glass back on the table, she nodded slowly and leaned forward again. "Whatever you need me to do, I'll do it."

"After such a rocky start I'm glad to see we're together on this." Kai smiled and finished his drink, setting the emptied cup down across from him, just out of touch of Megumi's glass. Damn this woman could really hold her liquor. He loved his booze but she could most likely drink him under the table, though he wouldn't let her in on that little secret.

"Anything?" Kai asked changing tone for the moment and sitting forward in his chair the shit eating grin returning to his face. His tone and manner were starting to get suggestive. "I may have an assignment for you after dinner."

As Kai spoke the plates of food arrived with the server from before both steaming hot as he approached the table and gave a short bow. "Lunch is served." He announced setting the honey glazed ham in front of the beautiful woman and setting the crisp lobster tails in front of her red-headed companion. "I'll get your drink refilled as soon as I return."

"But for now lets eat."

Megumi leaned back in her seat with her arms crossed, returning a subtle smirk to match Kai's own. She had a feeling what he was implying, but she was hardly opposed. Technically, he was paying her to do other things, so anything else was just...extra. "I did say anything, didn't I? Whatever assignment you have to give me...I can handle it."

But for now, as Kai said, it was time to eat. Now that the conversation was through, her appetite had returned, and the ham that set in front of her had her mouth watering already. "Make it a double," Megumi called after the waiter, waving her empty wine glass in the air. "I don't want to see the bottom of this glass again!"

"Good." Was Kai's only response as he lowered his chin for a more seductive look at the woman.

"Yes Ma'am." The waiter said quickly filling both glasses, and emptying the bottle. He would scuttle off after another bottle of the high end wine.

Kai's methods of eating were very formal, using the right utensil and eating very methodically. The lobster was really no match for his skills of consumption, he had to know the best way to eat something to know the best way to plate and prepare it. Cooking was like a science to him. "Perhaps we'll talk about your first assignment after we finish lunch."

"I look forward to it," Megumi replied, offering another subtle smirk before taking a bite into her ham. Her eating methods were a bit less refined than the man acrossf rom her, but she wasn't a barbarian or anything either. She ate pretty much like any normal person, just not one accustomed to high end etiquette.

To the waiter's credit, he kept the wine coming just like she wanted. And while she could certainly hold her liquor, she went through enough glasses to set her into the occasional giggle fit, which was a side of her that only came out when she was tipsy. She wasn't really drunk yet though, still well aware of her actions, just a bit...looser than usual.

By the time she finished her meal, Megumi had sunk back into her chair with a pleasant grin on her face, stretching her arms out wide. "Mmm...pretty good eats, this place."

Kai relaxed back into his seat, though he didn't drink as much as Megumi had he still felt the buzz off the wine he had drunk. Though he'd eaten at a different pace than his lunch date he had finished when she had. When he'd finished he'd properly placed his silverware on the plate to indicate to the server he was done.

Letting go of a contented sigh Kai set his sights on the beautiful woman across from him. "Now about that task." The words were slow and deliberate as he spoke, sort of mimicking the way he'd eaten before with his tone, it sounded serious but his expression was far too erotic. "There's something I need you to do under the table for me." Kai's fingers played through the long table cloth.

"An assiagnment under the table, hmm?" Megumi brought a finger up and traced it gently across her lips, as her eyes scanned up and down the man across from her. She hadn't actually stopped to take notice before, but he was certainly an attractive man, and she would be lying if she said she didn't wonder the rest of him looked like. If these were the kind of assignments he was going to need her for, she could definitely get used to this job. "Well, can't say I've done anything like that in a long time...but you're the boss."

In the blink of an eye, Megumi would disappear from her own seat. She'd waited until she was certain no one else was looking, so that no one else in the restaraunt would have any idea where she went. For all they knew, she had gotten up to go to the restroom. But she wasn't in the restroom. Now, she was on her knees underneath the table, completely closed off from everyone else with the tablecloth draped around her.

Then of course, there were Kai's legs sitting right before her. Scooting forward, she leaned close and brushed her fingers along the inside of his thighs. As she did this, she pushed his legs open wider and drew the tablecloth up high enough so she could access his waistline below the table. A quick moment of finger work had the front of his pants down and his most intimate area exposed.

She wasn't certain what she expected to find in Kai's pants, but she was pleasantly surprised at his size. "Oh... Yes." Was the less than startled response from Kai, doing his best to hide, Megumi would feel his excitement however. "My date is powdering her nose."

"I beg your pardon Sir, but she isn't like your usual dates. Miss Hirohata doesn't seem the type to powder her nose." Boy this guy certainly had an opinion didn't he?

"Then you know very little of her type of woman, complement her, and appreciate her... Skills and watch her become that type." Kai corrected throwing the beautiful woman a bone while he was at it.

Megumi had to stifle a snorting laugh at Kai's excuse for why she wasn't there. Fortunately, the fact that her mouth was otherwise occupied prevented any noticeable sounds from escaping beneath the table. The thought of powdering her nose was an amusing one, and not something she would ever do. The waiter was correct in that regard, but she appreciated Kai's quick thinking.

She felt Kai grow rather quickly in her grasp, a statement of just how aroused he was, and as he became fully aroused she had to expand her lips wider to fit his full girth. "Yes sir." The waiter reported almost saluting as he spun on his heels and started for the kitchen.
