Character Description

Revy Two Hands by Trickyou

Basic Information

Account Name: Mahiko
Character Name: Kitsune
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Height: 153 cm
Weight: 63 kg
Personality: Kitsune has always been the rambunctious type. She lacks the manners and habits of proper lady and is in great want of the feminine virtues of her peers. In short, she is a tomboy who prefers the battlefield to the kitchen. Her aversion to authority made her a liability as a Suna shinobi and ultimately lead her to abandon the village altogether. Kitsune is also an adrenaline junkie; she has a tendency to enjoy battles more than most other people.

Basic Info Continued

Village: Suna
Rank: Jounin
Clan: Shakuton (Scorch Release)
Summon: Monkey (pending approval)
Weapon(s): Knuckle Knives, senbon launcher (along knuckles of gloves), weapon seals on each wrist (stocked with senbon)
Fighting Style: Kitsune's fighting style is a bit bizarre for someone who considers herself to be a fuuinjutsu and ninjutsu expert. Contrary to her personality, her fighting style is very efficient, as she likes to weave her clan's Scorch Release in between slashes and stabs from her knuckle knives. Doing so allows her to constantly keep her opponents on their toes in a manner not unlike Killer Bee's Eight Swords Dance. She prefers utilizing her kekkei genkai through fireballs which she throws as she weaves through her opponents.  She can also augment ordinary fire jutsu with her bloodline, making them even more dangerous. Her mastery of fuuinjutsu enabled her to master the Byakugou seal (though she has no proficiency as a medical nin), which she only releases against her strongest opponents.

History

Born the daughter of a shoe cobbler and nursemaid, Kitamura Misune led a life oppressed by boredom and repetition. Her small town, Sparrow's Mill, was host to only a handful of people who had lived in Suna's backcountry for many generations. The quaint lifestyle in the outskirts was a poor match for the hard-headed and brash young girl, who spent more time during her first fourteen years there wrestling with the boys and catching frogs for her mother's comfort. By Misune's fifteenth birthday, her parents were worried that she was too coarse to get married.

Fortunately, Misune was given a chance to escape the droll lifestyle of Sparrow's Mill after discovering her talent for fire jutsu during an Iwa raid on the town. A retired kounin living in the town saw her ability during the raid and offered to train her, if she promised to serve in the shinobi corps once the training was complete. Misune immediately accepted and proved to be an incredibly talented prodigy. After four years of intense training, Misune was sent off to Suna proper to enlist in the corps, armed with a letter of recommendation from the aging kounin in one hand and his gift of the monkey summoning scroll in the other.

Upon arriving in Suna, Misune's natural ability for fire ninjutsu and general fearlessness thrust her up the ranks, making her an object of curiosity for many of her peers who could not understand how someone so untrained could be so good at fighting. Their admiration was short-lived, however, when Misune abruptly quit the shinobi corps in favor of seeking more exciting thrills beyond the village. The circumstances of her betrayal are still unknown, though many suspect that it has something to do with her new self-styled moniker, Kitsune.

As a missing-nin, Kitsune has been involved in a number of morally questionable missions, ranging from mercenary work for joint-stock companies to piracy on the high seas. Her arrival in the Village in the Graves might mark a turn from her new life of crime.
