Personality: Before she was brainwashed, Chiyoko was a very kind and loving woman, who cared deeply for her family. As a member of Kiri, she did what was required of her, but never held the kind of bloodlust most other shinobi did. After her brainwashing, however, she has been all but consumed by a near literal and insatiable lust for blood, reveling in her victims' defeats as she carves them in the most brutal fashions imaginable. The bloodier the better.

Fighting Style: Chiyoko is both subtle and vicious in combat, combining a mix of kenjutsu with highly advanced genjutsu to confuse and eviscerate her opponents.This is especially deadly when used in junction with sensory disabling techniques such as Hidden Mist, giving her opponents as little chance to defend as possible. Her nodachi, Tsuko no Chishio (Blood Moon), in addition to have incredible reach, possesses the ability to thin the blood of whoever it cuts, preventing wounds from clotting shut without medical attention. Even a small cut from this blade will cause blood to flow freely and without relent, spilling as much as possible from its victims. It also 'drinks' the blood of its victims, seeping within the steel to not only prevent the blade from staining, but also empowering its wielder with a growing combat lust the more blood it consumes.

History

Chiyoko was born to the Hidden Mist village, where she was raised to be a shinobi like her parents. Although never one to enjoy violence, she excelled in her training and passed her bloody academy exam with ease. Throughout her career, she became notorious amongst the more blood thirsty shinobi as being hesitant to cause more pain and damage than needed on a mission, or to others in the village who deserved it. This led her to being something of an outcast even with the other Swordsmen of the Bloody Mist.

Chiyoko met her future husband, Daichi, at a very young age, and certain mistakes and poor judgement led to her giving birth to a daughter at only 14 years old. Although they did marry soon after, she and Daichi held off a long time before having another kid, leading to a 19 year difference between her daughter and son.

Shortly after her son's second birthday, Chiyoko and her husband were sent on a mission to assassinate an important official and his entire estate, including family, servants, dogs, everything. During the mission, however, they couldn't bring themselves to murder the innocents they found there, such as young children no older than 5. When they returned to Kiri, they were outed as traitors for their refusal to comply with orders and were attacked by Kiri's Swordsmen. Chiyoko and Daichi fought to give a chance for their daughter to take their son and flee, escaping the bloodshed sure to come.

Rather than being simply killed, however, Chiyoko and Daichi were captured and taken prisoner. After being subjugated to extensive and brutal torture for many years, their minds were wiped and brainwashed by powerful sealing techniques, turning them into loyal killers of the Bloody Mist.

Personality: Before he was brainwashed, Daichi was a relatively relaxed individual, serious when needed to but never to an extreme. As a member of Kiri, he did what was required of him but never held the kind of lust for violence most other shinobi did. After his brainwashing, however, he is a viscious, unforgiving, and merciless man, not only in combat but to most others around him who aren't his wife or his direct superior.

Fighting Style: Daichi is known as something of a long range nuker, greatly prefering to engage in distanced ninjutsu battles with extremely high level and destructive water and wind techniques, along with supplementary non-elemental ninjutsu to give himself an advantage. When opponents do manage to close in and engage in melee combat, he possesses a variety of painful defensive techniques to make them thoroughly regret their decision. In a real pinch he carries chakra pills to increase his physical abilities if he has to engage in taijutsu. Between himself and his wife, he is considered to be the less dangerous of the two.

This resulted in the birth of their first kid, a daughter, and Chiyoko's family forcing them to marry.
