Personality: Nise is a deep thinker and knows how his village works better than anyone else. Having a tight informant of spies, he has avoided several assassination attempts by basically disappearing off the grid entirely. His village still follows his orders though, but his enemies have no knowledge of his location.

Weapon(s): An array of twenty different swords that he has taken from enemies that have tried to kill him in the past. Using his chakra, Nise is able to manipulate and utilize any of the swords he wishes. None of them have special abilities though, as Nise believes that only a true swordsman would win a fight through pure skill alone.
Fighting Style: Nise is the proclaimed "Greatest Swordsmen" in the world. While it has been many years since anyone challenged this title, he held a position of Leader of the Seven Swordsmen for over twenty years for good reason. Along with his sword techniques, Nise uses a variety of earth and fire jutsu to keep his opponents at bay and manipulate the battlefield to his advantage.

History

Nise is most well known for holding the title of Leader of the Seven Swordsmen of the mist for over twenty years. It was only within the last ten that he decided that he deserved an even loftier position. While he had served his village faithfully and was clearly more than a capable shinobi, Kiri had grown more political and less bloodthirsty over the last few decades. While Nise had no problem trying to create a better image for the village, he couldn't believe that he had been passed over to be Mizukage so many times. So, he decided to take matters in to his own hands.

Kiri changed over night.

When morning came, the former Mizukage had been slain in his office, one of Nise's blades plowed through his chest to send a message. No one had seen of Nise in the next several days though, and it was soon learned that the Mizukage had gone underground in order to avoid any sort of assassination attempt during the transition period. Being the Leader of the Seven, the swordsmen helped move the rest of the shinobi in line to follow their new leader's commands. While no one ever sees Nise, his orders make their way to the Seven and other high officials in Kiri through coded means. Currently Nise is an unknown, and it's not even certain that he still remains in Kiri. Regardless, he continues to watch over the village and have his orders fulfilled, having turned himself in to an untouchable leader. You couldn't assassinate what you couldn't see, and the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist's loyalty allowed him to hold most of the shinobi in line. Anyone that questioned this was quickly put to death.

With Kiri secure in his grasp, Nise turns his attention to the rest of the world, wanting to make sure that Kiri was still seen as a force to consider a threat.
